You didn't do me any favors!</td></tr></tbody></table>Fancy Feast is fine. It's ok. The kibbles are smaller, hence they're not as crunchy. I ate 'em because I was hungry. And then the mamarazzi brought home a rotisserie chicken. Yummay! I heart the chicken. She gave me a piece and guess what?<br /><br />It was RED MEAT!<br /><br />How dare she?! My instruction was very specific: either deep fried or white breast meat only. That's the way I like my chicken. La mamarazzi thought she was smart: she mixed the red meat with Fancy Feast and gave me.<br /><br />"Here, Belly, eat it. It's chiiiiichen!" she cooed.<br /><br />I gave her a dirty look. "No way, Jose! I ain't eatin' this. Where's my white meat chicken?"<br /><br />Obviously, the woman didn't get it. She kept pushing the plate at moi. So I did what I could: I high-tailed out of there. Later on, she gave me the same food and guess what? Yours truly spilled it all over the place. Oops!<br /><br />I gave her a sign: I licked my knuckles very gansterly. Yes, I plotted her dead over the lack of chicken breast. The plan was well-executed, too: I jumped on top of her when she was in bed with a blanket wrapping around like a burrito. It could have worked, except she pushed me off waaay too fast.<br /><br />Consider it a warning, woman. Next time, give me white meat chicken. And don't even try to lecture me about starving kittens in Asia and Africa. They are not in your house to eat Fancy Feast and red meat. I am. Vanity FOTD

Hi everybody,<br /><br />This week, Walgreens has a 50% off deal on all Wet 'n' Wild products. I took the opportunity to get me the Vanity palette from their ColorIcons collection. After hearing so many nice things about it in the blogsphere, I guess the 50% off just gave me an extra push to obtain this palette. Then, I used the long handled kabuki (LHK) to apply The Ultimate Powder to set my foundation and cut the shine. Two ViDerm Skincare Products to Brighten Your Skin

Hi everybody,<br /><br />During the summer, Emily, a fellow beauty blogger from <a href="http://www.groomedla.com/">Groomed L.A</a> hooked me up with two skincare products from <a href="http://www.vidermskin.com/viderm-skin-care-products.php">ViDerm</a>. If you are not familiar with ViDerm, perhaps the word "ViPeel" may jump start your brain. The Vitality Peel, or ViPeel, was created by Dr. Kalil of the Vitality Institute to take years off your face. It is a strong facial peel that can remove the dead skin cells on your face in pieces. The ViDerm skincare line was created to maintain your skin in between peels.<br /><br />With all that said, I have never had a real facial peel before. The closest I've got was using a L'Oreal kit with salicylic acid to clear up my zits. However, the ViPeel is not a pre-requisite to use the two awesome skincare below to lighten up my skin from the dark spots I have from many previous crops of acne.<br /><br />The first product I use is the Clear Skin Brightener. It is free of hydroquinone and the brightening power relies on a mixture of retinyl palmitate, kojic acid, azelaic acid, arbutin, and licorice extract. With 1 fluid ounce of product, it has less product than the skin brightener, which contains 1.75 fl. oz. This is a highly concentrated vitamin C serum. It is light-weight and absorbs quickly to my skin. It does fade dark spots slowly over time. I gave it a month and the dark marks I had from old acne scars faded to almost unnoticeable. Since the vitamin C is stabilized in methicones, the texture is a bit slippery and does not feel quite absorbing. To me, it actually makes my skin feel wet, which is strange for a product that contains so much methicones. This serum can also be used around the eyes as a moisturizer. I find my eye makeup to slip when I go too heavy with the serum. With all the methicones in the formula, the Vitamin C 20% serum is a nice facial primer to my mineral foundation. However, the only complaint I have is they do not prevent new zits from popping up. Also, layering two products on my face can be quite heavy during the summer. I am still working on a skincare sequence to prevent new blemishes while erasing old dark pigmentations on my face.<br /><br />Last but not least, when using brightening products, it is a good idea to use sunscreens during the daytime. Otherwise, you are going to sabotage all the progress your skincare has been doing. Or even worse, you can get some nasty sunburn if your skincare products have exfoliating agents such as retinol or hydroxy acids.<br /><br />Disclaimer: the products were provided for PR purposes. So far, Daddy's Girl is the second bottle I've reviewed since my last nail polish haul. It is purple, glittery, and on top of everything, Daddy's Girl is a jelly nail polish. Depending on the number of coats you apply, it can go from sheer to a lot more opaque. I applied two coats and although I can't see the color of my nail anymore, the jelly-ness is still there.<br /><br />The purple shade in Daddy's Girl shifts in different lightning. At night, when I read my book, I notice the shade tends to deepen to a darker purple. The incandescent light brings out the sparks in this nail polish. To me, this nail polish looks the best at night.<br /><br />In the daytime, Daddy's Girl looks a lot nicer and a lot more innocent. The sparks also look very nice under the day light but not as intense as under the yellow light. However, under bright flashes, the sparks do not show. With a good base and top coat, it does not chip or have any tip wear for a week. This is truly a fun color, despite how dark it looks in the bottle. The jelly texture is also a lot of fun. If you haven't tried any jelly nail polishes, this is a nice start for you. The pictures fail to capture the beauty of this nail polish. I tried my best but it does not show the fine sparkles and color shifts under different lightning. NaNoWriMo Is in the Air!

I know! I wish you guys could have a bite. The chips are 100% made from scratch. Last Friday, I went to the NaNoWriMo kick-off party in this awesome restaurant where all their food are made from scratch, including side dishes. The potato chips there are my favorite since they are thinly peeled and fried to crispy goodness. If you have ever eaten home-made chips, you can say the commercial chips in the bag goodbye. These chips are the real deal.<br /><br />Putting the chips aside, I have to say this November is going to be a lot of fun. Again, I am joining <a href="http://www.nanowrimo.org/">NaNoWriMo</a> for the third time since I moved to the Sunshine State. It is a lot of fun as I get to meet a lot of writers in town and make friends with them. The goal to write 50,000 words in a month is daunting but I guess if you can do it, you can pretty much do anything in your life. Without NaNoWriMo, I could not have done a lot of things. It gave me confidence.<br /><br />If you want to add more fun and a dash of craziness to your already hectic life, I urge you to join NaNoWriMo. For those who are writing a thesis or a dissertation, my advice is to focus on your work and sit this round down. I did join NaNoWriMo last year but got wise up after 7,500 words when I realized I really needed to graduate.<br /><br />Of course, I will continue blogging here as much as I can. I can't leave you guys alone, can I? Also, I will keep you updated with my word count progress.
