Here's the long awaited post that you girls have been asking for. Actually not very long, I've only been back for less than a week but cos y'all keep pressurizing me on ask.fm so I feel the need to blog it ASAP!!!
I'm gonna try to be as detailed as possible so y'all can get a full taste of my trip. YEAP FOR YOU TO BE JEALOUS @ MAX LEVEL HAHAHA.

As y'all know, this trip was planned for Daniel's 21st birthday. He's gonna be away for 3 weeks during his birthday and I couldn't find a better way to celebrate it with him but to bring him to Boracay. Boracay is also on my bucket list for this year so I'm super happy to have it ticked off.
DAY 1 - SIN TO KALIBO!
Outfit :
Top - own
Bottoms - Brooklyn pants by http://kismetlabel.com/
Premium Alexandria nude studded bag - http://www.theclosetlover.com/
Blue sandals - Zara
Green luggage - Mum's
11.30am flight!
We took Tiger Airways there. I jumped at the promo flight price of 220$ per pax one month prior to the trip. Tiger just launched new flight route to Boracay so there was a promotion. I think usual price should be around $300 - $400? The flight from Singapore to Kalibo Airport is approximately 3.5 hours. From Kalibo airport, you need to take a 2 hours bus ride to Caticlan jetty port, 15 mins ferry ride to Boracay island and then 5-15 mins hotel shuttle van depending which hotel you're staying at.
You can purchase a return land+ferry transfer ticket for 1000 peso (approx SGD$30) on the plane.
View from the plane entering Philippines.
After 3.5 hours of uncomfortable plane ride (I really dread taking Tiger), we finally arrived Kalibo airport which was....a really really basic airport. Then we boarded our big bus for another 2 hours ride. YAWNS*
We finally arrived at our hotel at 7.30pm and we obviously were damn tired and sian, especially since we couldn't see how exactly the beach and sea look like cos it was SUPER dark already. Nightfall is slightly earlier in Boracay. 6pm there and it's all dark already! Checked into your hotel, Shore Time Hotel which is located at Boat Station 1 of the White Beach.
Shore Time hotel wasn't our first choice but cos we booked the hotel rather last minute so we didn't have much of a choice. But it was very comfortable for our 3 nights there. It was about 110$ per night for the beach pad room. It's located a few steps away from the beach so it was really convenient. Jonah's milkshake (famous milkshake shop) is a few shops away so thumbs up for the convenience. Service was so-so, room is very clean but small. There are many other better choices if you're planning to book a hotel in Boracay, but just remember to book it early to secure a good hotel.
Bear in mind that hotels in Boracay are not very cheap. For a nice boutique standard hotel room, be prepared to pay $120 - $200 per night. And $200 - $400 per night for international standards. It varies with the season too.
Headed out to explore a bit and had dinner after resting!
HUGE ASS COCONUT THAT'S WAY BIGGER THAN MY HEAD!!!...and it sucked. Hahaha I really was looking forward to having nice coconuts there cos I love coconuts and I always thought that beach coconuts are damn good. BUT NOPE, YOU FAILED ME ON THIS BORACAY! It was gross I didn't even touch it after this picture hahahaha.
Didn't really do much on our first night cos we were damn tired so headed back to the hotel to sleep after dinner.
DAY 2 - WATERSPORTS!
We woke up at 8am and ran out to see how Boracay white beach looks like and this was what greeted us...

I swear we both just went like "OMG THIS IS DAMN NICE OMG THIS IS DAMN DAMN DAMN NICE LOOK AT THE WATER OMG" 10x. I don't know if you can tell from the pictures but the water is really really crystal clear and you can just see sections of the sea in different shades of blue and green. I just want to go back now while typing this...
Ugly picture of me but no time for ugly pics. Any picture in Boracay is precious hahah.
We had this for 3 mornings straight :/
Breakfast by the sea every morning. I just love it....
Breakfast outfit :
Colorsplash bralet (will be blogging a separate post on this soon) - http://www.ilove-cupcakes.sg/
Crochet hem white shorts - http://www.theclosetlover.com/
Pink sandals - http://www.ninthstore.com/
Especially love the fit of the bralet cos it was just perfect for me, and love how the white shorts blend in so well with the picturesque beach. Super comfortable pink sandals which accompanied my tired feet the whole trip (:
Changed out of the outfit cos our initial plan of cliff diving got changed to other watersports (:
Before watersports, we explored boat station 1 on our own first after breakfast. Did y'all know that white beach at Boracay won the "best beach in the world" in 2012???? And I'm just so honoured to be able to experience and see for myself.
Knitted crop top from http://www.ladymojo.me/ !!
Look at this boy who couldn't contain his excitement hahaha
JONAH'S MILKSHAKE!
I read a lot about it before I flew to Boracay. Reviews made it sound orgasmic so I couldn't wait to try. Also, I was thinking, just how good can milkshakes get right?
Granted, the milkshakes are really good. But orgasmic? Mmm I have my reservations on that haha.
Still, I had it almost everyday (:
One of my favorite pictures of us (: I love you susu.
Time to swim and get lost in the water!
I don't actually know of many girls who venture out into the sea when they go on beach holidays and that's something I don't get. I just wanna immerse myself into that endless vast ocean FOREVER. I wanna go far out to the borderless water!! Screw being fair already. I would still prefer to be fair but I don't wanna waste such a beautiful ocean and beach just to be fair so heck it.
Thank God for like-minded Daniel cos we just love going far out (couldn't go too far in Boracay cos it was high tide and I learned my lesson from almost drowning in Bali last year hahah). It felt so good just crashing those waves.
Super cheap beer and pina colada!
Oceanic pedi by Milly's!
Pity there were a lot of weeds on the beach cos it was high tide but it got lesser over the days.
Our hotel!
On the tuktuk to Bulabog beach for our watersports!
We picked helmet diving and fly fish! Both for $15 per person per sport.
They provided underwater photo and video taking so it was really well worth the price. However, we look super chui in the pictures cos we were too damn caught up being underwater. I think these are the ugliest pictures of myself I'm EVER gonna post up.
#whosthatmonsterontheleft #me
Look mum I touched a starfish!!!!!!
HI NEMO!!!!
I couldn't bring my camera for fly fish so I took a few photos off Google to give you a rough idea how it's like.
Basically we gotta hold on tight for our dear lives while the "fly fish" flies together with the speedboat. We capsized a lot of times, and it was really thrilling BUT I LOVE IT!!
Headed back to the hotel to wash up and took a tuktuk out for dinner at Mama's restaurant!
Highly raved European food on tripadvisor!
Very yummy chicken soup!
Hungarian sausages for Daniel!
Rolled chicken breast meat with ham and cheese for me!
The first thing we were greeted by upon entering was two complimentary shots of jagermeister. WHUTTTTT??? That's how the europeans roll. We felt so awful cos the shot was pretty strong, and I'm one hell of a weak drinker.
Went for foot massage by the beach for $10/hour before heading back to the hotel.
That's about our Day 1 and 2!! Writing this blog post brings back so much beautiful memories already though I was only there a week ago! Will be back with part 2 and a video soon (:
